During his time at KU, Kevin served as the Fundraising Coordinator of Engineer's Without Borders, President of Sigma Gamma Tau, and volunteered with International Friends. As a part of EWB he helped build latrines in Azacilo, Bolivia. He also worked for the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets, manufacturing and assembling parts for KU's Meridian UAV and NASA programs. He also interned at the Center for Space Nuclear Research (systems design, mission analysis, propulsion research) in 2010 and 2011.
Kevin enjoys running, hiking, spending time with family and friends. He also likes to read and loves playing music.
Kevin is currently working as a graduate teaching assistant at Purdue. He is involved in the study of combustion instability with application to liquid rocket engines. He was just awarded a NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship which will help support his future studies.
