At KU, Jake served as the Vice President of the KU chapter of IEEE and the Expo Chair for Eta Kappa Nu. He was also actively involved in the KU chapter of Tau Beta Pi. During his Junior and Senior year at KU, Jake was actively involved with an ongoing research project into signal processing with Dr. David Petr.
Currently, Jake spends his time wrangling his 3 dogs and 2 cats with his girlfriend Anne. Some of his hobbies include playing video games, making hobby electronics, and watching college basketball.
Starting in May of 2011, Jake began work at Honeywell FM&T as an Electrical Engineer. Currently, his job activities include research and development into High Voltage electronics. He plans to go back to school to pursue a Master's degree relating to electrical engineering in the future.
