The second part of the speaking series on the capstone project is on environmental stewardship and energy management in Brazil. It will take place on Wednesday, November 16th on the first floor of Spooner Hall at the University of Kansas. With a four-runner total time of 1:38:49, the SELF Class of 2015 placed second in the team division of the Crunchy Chicken Challenge. The annual event is in it's third year, and is a fundraiser for the University of Kansas Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The event brought in over 170 runners, including many SELF Fellows.

At the University of Kansas Spahr Classroom, Wednesday, October 19th, 2011, from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Adam & Catherine Vieux welcomed their fifth baby on Monday. His name is Levi Nicholas Vieux, and was born at 1:35 pm. Congratulations Adam and Catherine!
See Adam's Profile here. SELF Class of 2011 graduate Colin Davidson has accepted a position with the Energy Group at Burns & McDonnell. He will be working at the headquarters in Kansas City. Colin has worked with Burns & McDonnell through summer internships in 2011 and 2010. He will be beginning work following graduation (B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and B.A. in Business) in May of 2012.
